Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole came to the nearby College of Lake County during his 1996 campaign, and we got this great shot of him while he was mingling with the crowd. (I shook his hand, too!)

Biff Henderson, the stage manager at the Late Show with David Letterman, was standing outside the Ed Sullivan Theater when we passed by during our 1997 trip to New York City. Tara cried out, "Biff!"--this photo was the result.

Ringo Starr was touring with his All-Starr Band during the summer of 1997. I entered a contest to win tickets to his concert in Chicago, and not only did I win those (second row!)--I was also given these bongo drums, signed by the Man himself. What a thrill!

Each year, the Chicago-O'Hare Hilton hotel hosts "Beatlefest," a mammoth convention for Beatles fanatics like myself. Laurence Juber, an incredibly talented guitarist who played with Paul McCartney's band Wings during the 1970's, came to Beatlefest in August 1997. Here's a picture of me with him, after he had just signed a CD for me. What a sweetie!

Here I am at another Beatlefest--this one in 2000--with Robbie McIntosh, the lead guitarist of Paul McCartney's touring band from 1989 to 1993. In addition to being one of the most talented guitarists I've ever heard, Robbie is also one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

Little Richard and Chuck Berry gave an incredible joint concert at Hawthorne Racecourse in October of 2000. We were lucky enough to get tickets for third-row seats and were treated to an unforgettable show. These two rock-and-rollers have lost none of their touch!
